A Command reference
This chapter lists and describes the MPX200 CLI commands in alphabetical order. Each command
description includes syntax, keywords, notes, and examples.
Command syntax
The MPX200 CLI command syntax uses the following format:
keyword
command
keyword [value]
keyword [value1] [value2]
The command is followed by one or more keywords. Consider the following rules and conventions:
•
Commands and keywords are
not
case sensitive.
•
Required keyword values appear in standard font within brackets: [value].
•
Optional keyword values appear in
italics
within brackets: [
value
].
•
In command prompts, <
1
> or <
2
> indicate which blade is being managed.
Command line completion
The command line completion feature makes entering and repeating commands easier.
Table 31
describes the command line completion keystrokes.

Keystroke
Completes the command line. Enter at least one character and press the
Tab
key to
complete the command line. If there is more than one possibility, press
Tab
again
to display all possibilities.
Tab
Scrolls backward through the list of previously entered commands.
Up arrow
Scrolls forward through the list of previously entered commands.
Down arrow
Moves the cursor to the beginning of the command line.
Ctrl+A
Moves the cursor to the end of the command line.
Ctrl+B
Authority requirements
You must be in an administrator (Admin) session to perform various
set
commands. Note that:
•
Commands for monitoring tasks are available to all accounts.
