Enter the
portCfgShow
command to verify the port is persistently enabled as shown below:
Defining the IP interface of each virtual port
Specify the IP interface on the virtual port using the
portCfg
command. You can define up to eight IP
interfaces per GbE port. The syntax for this command is as follows:
portcfg ipif
[
slot/
][
ge
]
port args

To create IP interfaces:
create ipaddr netmask mtu_size
To delete IP interfaces:
delete ipaddr
Use the
portShow
command to display all IP interfaces on a particular GbE port. Note that fabrics
connected through FCIP are merged (unless they are connected as VEX_Ports).
To display IP interfaces on the specified GbE port:
portshow ipif [
