2.3 Connecting the Test Leads
Connect the optional test leads to the measurement terminals.
WARNING
Disconnect power to the circuit to which the DUT is connected before
connecting the test leads to the terminals.
Failure to do so could damage the instrument or result in bodily injury.
When using this instrument, use only Hioki specified test leads.
Using a test lead other than the specified parts could result in bodily injury or a short-
circuit.
CAUTION
When disconnecting the test lead of the LOW terminal, disengage the lock and
then pull out the BNC connector while gripping it at the connection (do not pull
on the cable).
Failure to observe this instruction may damage the BNC connector or joints.

Connect the red cable to the HIGH terminal and the
black cable to the LOW terminal.

2.4 Connecting a Communications Cable
The instrument can be controlled using the RS-232C interface, LAN interface, or USB interface.
Connect the appropriate communications cable to the RS-232C connector to use the RS-232C
interface, to the LAN connector to use the LAN interface, and to the USB connector to use the USB
interface.
