Enabling/Disabling the Key Operations
Enabling the key lock function with a passcode
When this function is enabled, the instrument requires the passcode to release the key lock. If the
set passcode and entered passcode match, the key lock is released.
This function prevents the operators from accidentally changing the measurement conditions.
Setting a passcode

Open the Setting screen.
[SET] Select

Set [KEY LOCK PASSCODE] to [ON] .
Select
[ON]
[OFF]
When it is set to ON, [ ] is displayed regardless of the number of passcode
characters.

Move the cursor to [ ] and press the [EDIT] key.
[EDIT] Edit
[EXIT] Return to the Measurement screen
The passcode setting dialog box is displayed.
The default setting is “” (none).
