Communications Function

WARNING

Turn off all devices before connecting or disconnecting interface 

connectors.

Failure to do so could cause the operator to experience an electric shock.

Do not unplug communications cables while the instrument is sending or 

receiving data.

Doing so could damage the instrument or computer.

Do not short or input any voltage to the connector or output unit.

Securely connect the connector.

Otherwise, the instrument may be damaged or may not meet the specifications.

Use the same ground for the instrument and computer.

When a communications cable is connected to the instrument with a potential 

difference between the ground circuits of the instrument and the PC, the instrument 

and PC may be damaged or malfunction.

Once the communications cable is connected, tighten the screws on the 

connector.

Otherwise, data may not be transferred properly.
