Setting the Measurement Delay Time

3.4  Setting the Measurement Delay Time

Set the delay time that is allowed to elapse from the start of the test to the start of insulation 
resistance measurement.
By setting a measurement delay time equal to interval during which measured values exhibit 
instability immediately after the test voltage is applied, you can realize stable insulation resistance 
measurement.

Set the measurement delay time in the range between 1 PLC and 100 PLCs.
1 PLC is equivalent to one cycle of a power supply frequency.

50 Hz

1 PLC = 1/50 = 20 ms

60 Hz

1 PLC = 1/60 = 16.7 ms
