3.6 Judging the Measured Value
(Comparator Function)
By using the comparator function, the following can be performed.
Displaying the judgment result on the instrument (COMP lamp U. FAIL / PASS / L. FAIL)
U. FAIL Measured value > Upper limit value
PASS Lower limit value ≤ Measured value ≤ Upper limit value (within the judgment reference)
L. FAIL Measured value < Lower limit value
Sounding a buzzer (Default: FAIL)

Externally outputting the judgment result

There are the following three judgment methods. The setting range of the upper/lower limit values

IMPORTANT
In the following circumstances, [U. FAIL] and [L. FAIL] light up simultaneously (UL.FAIL):
• When no judgment is possible because the measured value is [Over.F] (overflow) due to the
upper or lower limit value being greater than the display range’s upper limit.
• When no judgment is possible because the measured value is [Under.F] (underflow) due to the
upper or lower limit value being less than the display range’s lower limit.
• When the BDD count is 1 or greater while the comparator function and BDD judgment are
enabled.
