LAN Interface

Setting the LAN communications

When configuring the LAN communications settings using communications commands, use the 
following commands.
Comma delimiters are used to separate IP address and subnet mask values.

Enhancing the speed of LAN communications

The TCP/IP communications used for LAN communications of the instrument helps process the 
large volumes of data to be sent more efficiently. When small data, such as a command that 

controls the instrument, is sent, data transmission does not take place until the data to be sent 

reaches a certain volume, which makes the response from the instrument slower. In order to 
enhance the communications speed, disable the transmission delay (Nagle algorithm) in the control 

program.
