Influence of Noise
Synchronizing the sampling time with the commercial power supply frequency
The sampling time of this instrument is synchronized with the power supply frequency.
When the main frequency setting of the supplied power is set to AUTO, 50 Hz or 60 Hz is
automatically recognized and set.
The main frequency can manually be set to 50 Hz or 60 Hz, however, be aware that the measured
value becomes unstable if the setting is wrong.

Separating the power supply line
It is recommended to prepare a separate power supply for power systems, welding machines, etc.
See “Fig. Conductive noise countermeasure”.
Insert a common mode filter (EMI choke) into the noise transmission path.
Select a common mode filter with high impedance, if possible. Multiple filters can increase the
effect.
