Using a FOMA Terminal as
a Calculator
A FOMA terminal performs four basic arithmetic
operations (

(multiplication), ÷ (division)).

Up to 10-digit number and up to nine decimal
places can be shown.

A result number consisting of more than 10 fig-
ures appears with “.E”.

Composing Text Memos
The text memo function is available for compos-
ing and saving short messages, etc. Composed
text memos can be pasted into your schedule or
mail.

You can store up to 10 text memos.

A text memo can contain up to 256 double-byte
or 512 single-byte characters.

Compose a memo
NOTE
e The “ ” (Notice designate calls) desktop icon disap-
pears if the cost limit is changed to the one exceeding
the current total calls cost in “Cost limit setting”.
e
If you set the cost limit for the first time to a value lower
than the total calls cost and make or receive a call, the
alarm of Notice designate calls sounds when you end
the call.
e
You can choose the alarm mode between “Operation
preferred” or “Alarm preferred” in “Alarm setting”.
