A movie whose size is larger than 290K bytes,
which is shot with the built-in camera, can be
clipped using this function.

Font size Selects “Normal” or “Large” as the
font size.
Word alignment Sets the text position. Select “Left”,
“Center” or “Right”.
This setting may be unavailable
depending on the Scroll setting.
Blink Specifies whether to flash subtitles.
Underline Specifies whether to underline
subtitles.
Scroll Sets the scrolling mode.
• OFF Cancels scrolling.
• Scroll in X Select “Right to left”, “Left to
right”, “Bottom to top” or “Top to
bottom” as the scrolling direction
• Scroll out
• Scroll in&out
Finish setting Exits the subtitle effects settings.
NOTE

If you edit subtitles, the edited data cannot be speci-
fied as a ring tone.
e
The scrolling speed is set automatically to match the
time from the start point to the end point.
e
Subtitle effects unsupported by FOMA N902iX HIGH-
SPEED may be deleted or altered.
e
You may be unable to edit subtitles if the movie was
not shot with the built-in camera.

You cannot edit a subtitle when no subtitles have
been added.
Mail(L) Clips a movie larger than 490K bytes
to 490K bytes or smaller.
Mail(S) Clips a movie larger than 290K bytes
to 290K bytes or smaller.
NOTE
e
A movie with subtitles inserted cannot be clipped with
the subtitles remaining.
e
The approximate size of the clipped file appears dur-
ing movie clipping.
e
“Trim for mail” is unavailable for a movie of QVGA
(320 × 240).
