2. Roll door g la ss to top, then through a c c e ss
opening, using a 7/1 6 " w rench, rem ove two bolts
which attach door handle to door o u ter p an el. R e
move handle and handle g ask e ts (fig. 11).
NOTE: R einforcem ent p la te is spot-w elded to
in sid e of door o u ter p anel.
3. Remove the button shaft re ta in e r by f ir s t
depressing, then ro tatin g re ta in e r a s shown in
fig u re 12. Rem ove shaft sp rin g and button a s s e m
bly with O -rin g se a l fro m handle (fig. 13).
INSTALLATION
1. P la c e button assem b ly with in stalle d O -ring
se a l in handle.
2. L ocate sp rin g o ver button shaft, then in
s ta ll spring re ta in e r (fig. 12).
3. P osition door handle with g ask ets to door
o u ter panel, then through a c c e s s opening a t bottom
of door, in sta ll two attaching bolts.
4. In stall a c c e s s panel to bottom of door.
DOOR LOCK CYLINDER
REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL (Fig. 14)
1. Rem ove a c c e s s panel at bottom of door.
2. Through a c c e ss panel opening, pull lock
cylinder re ta in e r fro m beneath the lock cylinder
grooves by g rasping re ta in e r lip with p lie rs .
3. T ilt lock asse m b ly to p e rm it cylinder lug to
disengage from lock m echanism le v e r. Remove
lock cylinder and gasket fro m door.
INSTALLATION (Fig. 14)
1. With gasket in positio n on lock cylind er,
in s e r t cylinder in door and engage lug o v er lock
m echanism le v e r.
2. While holding cylinder, in s e rt leg s of r e -

n e c e s s a ry to d riv e re ta in e r into final engagem ent

lock o p erates fre e ly , in sta ll low er a c c e s s panel
to door.
