ENGINE FRONT MOUNTING REPLACEMENT
TV70 MODEL (WITH 6V-53 ENGINE)
NOTE: Key num bers in follow ing text r e fe r to

REMOVAL
1. Cut and rem ove lo c k w ir e (11) which se c u r e s
two mounting b olts (
1 0
), then rem ove the mounting
b o lts.
2. R a ise front of engine far enough to take
weight off front mounting.
3. R em ove two b olts (1) attaching bracket (14)
and mounting a ssem b ly to c ro ssm em b er, then re
move bracket and mounting a ssem b ly .
4. R em ove lock w ir e s (13) secu rin g b o lts (12),
and rem ove b olts (
1 2
) which a re threaded into
w eld -n u ts on plate (7). Separate and in sp ect the
mounting com ponents.
INSTALLATION
1. A ssem b le mounting cushion a ssem b ly (

),
s p a c e r s (4), retain er (9), and plate a ssem b ly (7).
B olt the com ponents to bracket (14) using 65 foot-

pounds torque on bolts (12). S ecure b olts (12) with
lock w ir e s (13) through bolt heads and h oles p ro
vided in bracket (14).
2. P o sitio n mounting a ssem b ly at c r o ssm e m
b er and in sta ll bolts and w a sh ers (
1 0
) to attach
mounting a ssem b ly to bracket (
6
) on engine. Tighten
b olts (10) to 65 foot-pounds torque and se c u r e with
lo ck w ire (
1 1
).
3. Lower the front of engine to allow w eight
to r e s t on mounting, then in sta ll b r a c k e t-to -c r o s s -
m em ber b olts (1) and tighten to 75 foot-pounds
torque.
NOTE: If bracket (
6
) on front of engine is r e
p laced , tighten bracket bolts to 65 foot-pounds
torque.
CONVENTIONAL MODELS
(WITH 6V-53 ENGINE)
1. R eferrin g to figu re 2, rem ove b olts and
w a sh ers which attach engine front mountings to
fra m e cro ssm em b er and bracket o n fro n to f engine.
2. R a ise front of engine fa r enough to perm it
rem oval of the two mountings, then rem ove mount
in g s.
3. P la c e the new mountings in p osition shown
in figure
2
(w idest part toward engine bracket).
Low er engine into p lace on mountings.
4. In stall mounting b olts and w ash ers and
tighten b olts to torque values shown in "Engine
Mounting B olt Torque Chart."
