ating p osition . Follow ing ser v ic in g of hydraulic
sy s te m exam ine door opening (fig. 13) or cover
s e a l. Apply new caulking if n e c e ssa r y b efo re in­
sta llin g door, oth erw ise dust may enter cab la ter
at th is location.
MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD
CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: T his check and adjustm ent is not r e ­
quired on s te e l tilt cab m odels, excep t TM80
and TV 70.
B efo re making adjustm ent, pull the m aster
cy lin d er boot back on push rod. V isually check to
s e e if the p iston is se a te d firm ly against piston
snap ring in cylinder bore (fig. 14). If not, the push
rod i s too long and should be shortened, a s d irected
la te r .
IMPORTANT: It i s b etter to have push rod
adjusted too short than fo r it to be too long. If the
push rod is too long the clutch w ill not fully engage.
