4. R em ove four s c r e w s which attach w iper
control valve body to m otorp iston b od y a s s e m b lie s .
R em ove valve body and body O -r in g s. F igu re 28
show s body separated.
5. P la c e right half of piston body (half with
threaded sc r e w holes) in v is e so that attaching
s c r e w s a r e up.
IMPORTANT: Tighten v is e only enough to hold
body.

7. Slowly lift off upper p iston body.

. Note p osition of alignm ent m arks on gear
and p iston rack (fig. 29). Mark on gear i s on rear
sid e of gear tooth. Mark on rack is c a st in rack
at cen ter lin e . R em ove gear a ssem b ly , noting
lo c a tio n s of thick and thin b ea rin g s.
9. R em ove thrust block.
10. Note p osition of valve r e v e r s e r te e in
body slo t, and rem ove the p iston a ssem b ly .
