Phase Overcurrent
The Phase Overcurrent feature measures individual
phase currents. Any phase current that exceeds the
pickup level (10 to 2000 Amps) will cause the control
to start a Time Delay timer (1 to 8160 Cycles).
When the Time Delay expires the control issues
an Overcurrent Phase A (B, C) event. If at any time
during Time Delay timing the phase current value
decreases to less than the pickup level, the Time
Delay will reset. The control keeps track of which
individual phase caused the event to happen.
NOTE
: When the Phase Overcurrent function
is enabled, if the Sequence of Events
(SOE) recorder is not enabled a dialog
screen will be displayed prompting the
user to enable SOE and to choose the
Phase Overcurrent trigger.
