Configuration of the Modem/SCADA

HeartBeat Feature From CapTalk

To setup the Modem/SCADA HeartBeat from

CapTalk proceed as follows:

1. Select

Communication/SCADA Heart

Beat Setting

from the CapTalk toolbar.

CapTalk will display the "SCADA

Settings" dialog screen (Figure 4-39).

2. Select either "Standard" or "Direct"

SCADA HeartBeat.

Enter the desired setting for the "SCADA

Heart Beat" (1 to 300 minutes).

Select "Save". CapTalk will display a

"Confirm Writing to Device" confirmation

screen (Figure 4-2).

Select "OK". CapTalk will display a

"Setpoints Successfully Written to

Control" confirmation screen (Figure

4-14).
