Eleven bolts and pins are installed outside, and two bolts are installed in the conical

gears chambers. Internal bolts can be accessed only when the side lid 6 is removed. Spring wash-
ers are installed under the outer bolts and pin nuts. Internal bolts are forelocked with wire.

Main gear wheels and bearings are oiled with the axle case oil going through the main

gear crankcase up to the inspection door level. The oil is captured by the wheels and goes to the
main gear crankcase chamber through the roller bearing 2, and then it flows to the axle case. Con-
ical pinion bearings are oiled from the conical gears chamber, oil then goes to the bushing sleeve
through the crankcase cover tray and oil feeding connector.
