7.1 List of Truck Maintenance Operations

Maintenance before departure

Inspect the truck and check,

if there is the leakage of the fuel,
oil or special liquids, air leaking.
If any, eliminate a shortage.

Maintain the engine in ac-

cordance with the operation
manual for the engine.

Inspect the engine, if necessary,
clean it off dust and mud.

Check the oil level in the

power steering pump reservoir, if
necessary, ramp it up to norm.

Oil level should be be-

tween high and low

set-

point hairlines

Oil level indicator,

waste cloth

Fill in the windscreen washer

reservoir.

At temperatures below
zero, pour the water out of
reservoir.

Container

Check operability and per-

formance of lights, the audio-
visual alarm, control and measur-
ing instruments and windscreen
