9 Transportation

The trucks could be transported by railway, water, air transport or under its own

power. The type of transport is stipulated by the delivery contract. And the following
preparatory works shall be implemented:

1.

Before loading check and, if necessary, ramp the air pressure in tires up to norm
and close wheel valves. On the trucks without the pressure pumping system the
pressure in tires shall be normal.

2.

After the loading of the truck on the transport:

- Stop the truck with the parking-brake;
- Put in the first speed of the gearbox and the low gear of the transfer box;
- Turn off the storage batteries.
3. Implement loading and unloading under its own power.

9.1.1 Upon truck transportation by train,

the truck, erected on the platform, is

fastened with two strut braces to the rear towing device and two strut braces to front towing
hooks, under the front wheels in front and stop bars 100х160х760 mm of size shall be fixed
behind the rear wheels.

The truck, installed above platform clutch, as in figure 158, is fastened with two strut

braces to the rear towing device and with two strut braces to the mounting spring bracket of the
intermediate axle. It is necessary to fix stop bars under the wheels of the intermediate axle in
front and under the wheels behind the rear axle. Fix the front wheels with lateral stop bars
outside the wheels.
