Spare wheel holder variant for a cabover truck:
1-Gearbox cable; 2-bucket; 3-bolt; 4-removable bracket; 5-holder base; 6-gearbox; 7-removable handle.

Figure 78 - Spare Wheel Holder

By rotating the handle lower the removable bracket with the spare wheel. When the wheel is

down remove cable 1 from the spare wheel not disconnecting it from the removable bracket 4, if pos-
sible, and wheel it out.

If the removable bracket with the spare wheel cannot be lowered when the handle 7 is first

rotated (it can be seen because cable 1 tension is poor), use the tire iron to uncouple the removable
bracket 4 from the holder base 5.

Spare wheel in transport is elevated in reverse order, after that, loosen cable tension.
Spare wheel holder maintenance consists in checking holder fixation on the truck frame and

wheel fixation in the holder.
