The alternator is a synchronous machine with installed rectifier assembly, with positive 

pressure ventilation. 

To avoid the alternator failure it is forbidden: 
- to operate the engine when storage batteries switch is off; 
- to disconnect wires from positive and negative alternator outlets and to disconnect al-

ternator and voltage regulator plugs when the engine is in operation;
