Fog Function with Both Eyes Open

A single eye can be tested while both measuring windows are open.

Press the auxiliary lens display at the top of
the measurement screen to display the
Auxiliary Lenses window.

Press [FOG].

Press

or

. The unselected side is

fogged with the preset amount instead of
the occluder.

Perform one of the following operations to
clear the fog. The occluder is placed in the
measuring window.

• Press [FOG] again.

• Press

.

• Turn the power off and on again.
• Press any chart button which specifies

auxiliary lenses other than open or
occluder.

• Select any auxiliary lens.

Pressing [+] or [–] in the Auxiliary Lenses window changes the fog amount. The variable range is from
0.00 D to +9.00 D. The factory setting is +1.75 D.
