3.6 Program errors (PR
)
These are alarms that occur during automatic operation. Program errors mainly occur when there are
mistakes in the creation of machining programs and when programs are created that do not match the
NC specifications. The error No. and a message appear on the screen.

PR0001 Mode
mismatch
Automatic start was attempted in
a mode different from that of the
device for which operation search
was performed.
• Match the operation mode with
that of the searched device,
then retry automatic start.
PR0002 Search during auto
operation
A search was attempted during
program operation.
• Execute the search after the
program operation has finished.
PR0003 Device
invalid
A nonexistent or inoperable
device was designated.
• Check the device availability
and whether it is usable.
PR0004 No file designation
A program file has not been
designated.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0005 No
file
The designated program file does
not exist.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0006 No N/B number
The designated sequence No. (or
program No.) does not exist, or a
block having the designated block
No. does not exist.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0010 No. of simultaneous
axes over
The number of axis addresses
commanded in the same block
exceeds the specifications.
• Divide the alarm block
command into two.
• Check the specifications.
PR0011 Illegal axis address
The axis address commanded by
the program and the axis address
set by the parameter do not
match.
• Revise the axis names in the
program.
PR0020 Division
error
An axis command that cannot be
divided by the command unit was
issued.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0032 Illegal
address
An address not listed in the
specifications has been
designated.
• Check and revise the program
address.
• Check the specifications.
PR0033 Format
error
The command format in the
program is not correct.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0034 Illegal G code
A G code not listed in the
specifications has been used.
• Check and correct the G code
address in the program.
PR0035 Address range over
The setting range for the
addresses has been exceeded.
• Reconsider the program.
PR0036 Program end error
• "EOR" has been read during
tape and memory operation.
• M02 and M30 are not entered at
the end of the program.
• M99 is not entered at the end of
the subprogram. (Or, G23 or
G68 is not entered at the end of
the subprogram when it is
compliant with an M2/M0
format.)
• Reconsider the program.
