6.6.3 Remote setting function (Pr. 59)
Even if the operation panel is located away from the enclosure, you can use contact signals to perform
continuous variable-speed operation, without using analog signals.
The above parameter can be set when Pr. 160 "User group read selection" = 0.
Pr. 59 can be used to select a digital motor potentiometer. Setting Pr. 59 to a value of "1" activates the
frequency setting storage function, so that the stored value is also stored when the power is switched
off. The last frequency value is stored in the E²PROM. The delete instruction only applies to the data
stored in RAM.
When Pr. 59 is set to any of "1 to 3" (remote setting function valid), the functions of the RH, RM and RL
signals are changed: RH
acceleration, RM deceleration and RL clear.
