READ INSTRUCTION
MANUAL
When installing the robot controller, follow the precautions below.
1. Provide a clearance of at least 50mm from the top or side panel of the controller.
2. Do not block the heat-sink on the side panel.
3. Do not block the fan on the rear panel of the controller.
4. Provide a clearance of at least 30mm from the rear panel of the controller.
c
CAUTION
1. When carrying the robot
controller, use a dolly or similar
hand truck and move it carefully
to avoid dropping and resultant
damage.
2. Take care not to allow the
connectors on the front of the
robot controller to be hit or
bumped. Shocks received by the
connectors may damage the PC
boards in the controller.
3. Be sure to give the cables used to
connect the controller enough
extra length to avoid strain and
pulling at the connectors.
4. Keep the controller away from oil
and water. If the controller is to
be used under such adverse
conditions, put it in a watertight
box equipped with a cooling
device.
5. Install the controller on a flat,
level surface. Do not stand the
controller on its side or end, and
do not install in an inverted
position.
Do not install in locations subject
to excessive vibrations.
6. Do not install the controller in
locations where the ambient
temperature may rise higher than
the rated temperature.
7. Do not block the fan vents in the
rear panel. If blocked,
temperature inside the controller
will rise leading to malfunctions,
breakdowns or deterioration of
electric components. Always
provide a clearance of at least
30mm from the rear panel so that
the fan works properly.
