10. “PROGRAM” mode
10.3.6 Renaming a program
To change the names of programs in the directory, proceed as follows.
[Procedure]
1) In “PROGRAM>DIR” mode, use the cursor (
↑
/
↓
) keys to select the program to be
renamed.
2) Press the
F 8
(RENAME) key to enter “PROGRAM>DIR>RENAME” mode.
The message “Enter program name” appears on the guideline along with the
original program name.

Program names can be up to 8
characters and consist of a
combination of alphanumeric
characters (0 to 9, A to Z) and
underscores ( _ ).
