Using a Pattern

When you sew a bar-tack near a thick fabric edge, then you should
place some fabric beneath the buttonhole foot to compensate for the
height, or

use the W6 Balance Hub (special accessory) to compensate for the

difference in height.

Gently pull the buttonhole lever downwards as far as possible.

Hold the upper thread gently and begin to sew.

The darning and bar-tack are sewn by the machine automatically.

Lift the presser foot and cut off the thread.

Bar-tacking and darning have been completed.
