Do not use the bobbin under any circumstances
•
if knots have developed,
•
if the bobbin is wound unevenly,
•
if the bobbin is wound too loosely.
Incorrectly wound bobbins can result in the hook being damaged. Take note
of the correct threading path when you wind your bobbin. Check the correct
threading path in your manual under „What do I do with the lower thread?“
(Page 54).
Bobbin winding: left - incorrect | right - correct
Ensure that you use original bobbins (plastic bobbins by W6 WERTAR-
BEIT).
If the lower thread bobbin is wound correctly, insert it as follows, see „What
do I do with the lower thread?“ > „Inserting a plastic bobbin in the hook
race“ (Page 62):

Threading the upper thread correctly
Now thread the upper thread. When threading the upper thread, hold the
spool firmly in the right hand. Using the left hand, pull the thread vigorously
into the threading path and thread tensioning so that the W6 machine can
build up the correct thread tension, see „What do I do with the upper
thread?“ > „Threading the upper thread“ (Page 68).
It is important to use the correct hook on the needle clamp, so that the
correct thread path can be ensured.
