Removing the plastic bobbin
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Press the
‹Needle Up - Needle Down›
button twice.

It is very important that the thread take-up lever concealed by the
head cover and the needle is in the correct postition before threading
and before any change in program. The needle is then in the automatic
starting position. Failure to do so will always lead to a sloppy seam,
blockages and jams in the flow of the thread.
2.
Set the
‹presser foot lifter ›
to the upper position.
3.
Slide the fastener of the
‹bobbin cover›
to the right and remove the bob-
bin cover.
4.
Remove the plastic bobbin from the hook race housing.

Using the right-hand index finger, grip beneath the edge of the
bobbin and lift the bobbin out.
»
The plastic bobbin has been removed from the horizontal hook.
