Press the Needle Up - Needle Down button twice

Iron or tack the hem before sewing.

This step is required in ord

er to obtain a neat seam.

Lay the fabric with the wrong side facing upwards.

Fold the edge of the fabric to the desired hem width.

Position the fabric in such a way that the guide of the

fits

against the edge of the hem.

The needle should pierce the fabric as close as possible to the edge
of the fold of the hem. The right- and left-hand entry position of the
needle is determined by turning the screw on the
