W6 Tip
You must not sew with the foot controller. It is preferable from an ergo-
nomic point of view and easier on the back to work without the foot
controller. Start and stop the sewing machine by means of the ‹Start-Stop›
button. In addition, set a suitable speed by means of the speed controller.

3.10 Why using W6 thread, needles and bobbins
is important
Even a good machine can only sew properly if the thread, needle and
bobbin are compatible with each other. W6 WERTARBEIT offers compat-
ible, high-quality products for your sewing machine.
Cheap, poor quality threads can cause trouble, when sewing. Therefore, we
recommend that you use thread tension-friendly and lint-free W6 WERTAR-
BEIT thread. This thread is suitable for sewing, embroidery and overcasting
machines.
An unsuitable needle may break easily, cause thread to break, damage the
sewing yarn or the cause the machine to skip stitches. Apart from this, an
unsuitable needle produces a seam of poor appearance, because they
force the thread through the weave instead of allowing it to slide through
smoothly. For safety’s sake, always use original W6 WERTARBEIT
needles.
In addition to using high-quality W6 thread and needles, a correct run of
thread and a good seam depend very significantly on the bobbins that are
used. Please use only W6 WERTARBEIT plastic bobbins.
