W6 Tip
Adjust the stitch length to the various types of fabric. In general, the thicker
the fabric to be sewn, the greater the stitch length that must be selected.
- In the case of thin, non-stretch fabrics, e.g. organza = Length 2.
- In the case of normal, non-stretch fabrics, e.g. low-stretch cotton = Length
3
- In the case of thicker, non-stretch fabrics, e.g. denim = Length 4 - 5
Use a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 90 (HAx 1SP) for stretch and non-stretch
fabrics, or a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 75 (HAx 1SP) for thinner fabrics.

Standard foot, Super-Stretch Needle 90 or 75
In order to be able to sew together two fabrics precisely, they are stitched
togther by means of a basting stitch. Use the thin W6 Super-Stretch Needle
75 (HAx 1SP) for basting, so that the nee
dle pricks will not be visible.
Prerequisite:

You have read the safety notes for this sewing machine, see “Safety
Notes” (page 7).

You have set up the machine in a safe place; see “Setting Up” (page 12).
•
You have connected the machine properly, see “Connecting the ma-
chine” (page 12).

Use a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 90 (HAx 1SP) for stretch and non-
stretch fabrics, or a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 75 (HAx 1SP) for thinner
fabrics. If necessary, install a special needle.

You are using W6 plastic bobbins and thread tension-friendly / lint-free
W6 thread.
•
The presser foot that matches the pattern is installed.
