11.9 Buttonholes: Programs 90 to 97
Buttonhole foot, Super-Stretch Needle 90
The machine enables you to sew four different types of buttonholes in all
the usual sizes:
•
Square buttonhole Programs 90 and 91
•
Eyelet buttonhole Programs 92 and 93
•
Round buttonhole: Programs 94, 95 and 96
•
Stretch buttonhole: Program 97
The process of sewing all four types of buttonholes is identical and is
described under „Sewing buttonholes“ (Page 138).
Similarly, the process of cutting out all four types of buttonholes is identical
and is described under „Cutting out the buttonhole“ (Page 142).
W6 Tip
In order to achieve good results when sewing all fabrics, it is necessary to
reinforce the fabrics with a lining or stabiliser on the left-hand side.

We recommend that you try sewing the buttonhole on a separate piece of
fabric.

Programs 90 and 91:
The stitch length may be adjusted at any time.
There are certain limitations, the stitch width cannot be changed.
Always place tear-away or self-adhesive W6 stabiliser under the fabric for
the purposes of stabilisation.
