Patching takes place in three steps.

Step 1

The individual pieces of fabric are sewn next to each other or on top of each
other on a larger surface according to a pre-planned pattern. There are
numerous techniques for sewing the pieces together using a sewing

machine. The same applies to any technique: The W6 1/4 inch patchwork

quilting foot sews the ¼ inch seam (6,3 millimetre) that is typically used for

patchwork cleanly and precisely.
