12.9 Sewing stretch fabrics.
In the case of stretch stitches, the stitch pattern varies according to the type
of fabric and the setting. The specified stitches are stretch stitches, that may
vary in terms of stitch length.
Under certain circumstances, this results in different stitch patterns with the
same stitch and different fabrics. In the case of stretch or elastic fabrics you
should always use a W6 WERTARBEIT Size 75 or 90 Super-Stretch
needle. Do not use a jersey needle as these pull the fabric into the needle
plate or cause skipped stitches.

Use a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 90 (HAx 1SP) for stretch and non-
stretch fabrics, or a W6 Super-Stretch Needle 75 (HAx 1SP) for thinner
fabrics. If necessary, install a special needle.

You are using W6 plastic bobbins and thread tension-friendly / lint-free
W6 thread.
•
The presser foot that matches the pattern is installed.
