Speed Controller
Speed Controller
You may change the sewing speed at any time. If the speed controller is on
the left-hand side below the tortoise, you are operating at the lowest sewing
speed. If you shift the controller to the right, the sewing speed is increased
until the speed controller has reached the right-hand side below the rabbit.
W6 Tip
The sewing speed can be changed when sewing with the
‹Start - Stop›
button. Be sure to disconnect the foot controller.

Presser foot lifter
Speed Controller
You can raise and lower the presser foot by means of the
‹presser foot
lifter›
. Set the presser foot lifter to the “up” position to put your fabric
beneath the presser foot.
Before beginning to sew, the presser foot lifter must be set to the “down”
position.
W6 Tip
If the fabric that you wish to sew is too thick, the presser foot cannot be
lowered sufficiently. In this case, an error message is triggered. You will
hear a beeping tone and the abbreviation “LO” appears in the display
instead of the program number.
