Threading the upper thread

What do I do with the upper thread?

Manual • Sewing machine W6 N 2000 Exklusive W6 N 2000 Exklusive • 27/04/2018 • 1.0 • GBR

Place a spool of W6 WERTARBEIT thread on the horizontal

‹spool pin›

The thread spool will run more smoothly if you first place a sm

aller

spool on the spool pin.

Fasten the spool by means of the spool cap.

Do not leave a gap between the spool and the spool cap.

Unwind about 60 cm of yarn from the W6 WERTARBEIT thread.

When doing so, hold the spool firmly in the right hand. The spool
may not be released.

First guide the thread around the back of the metal thread guide.

Keep the thread under tension when it is threaded through the 1st thread
guide.

Keep to the sequence of 1 to 5 when threading.

Continue threading the thread under tension downwards into the 2nd
thread guide and upwards to the third position without releasing the ten-
sion that has developed.
