fabric is sewn.
W6 Tip
Use the blind hem foot or the ov
erlock foot at the edge of the fabric. It can
be used as a guide when overcasting the edges of the fabric directly.

This pattern creates an invisible seam in pieces of fabric that are sewn
together. The seam also lends an interesting look to simple garments. If
decorative thread is used for the upper and lower threads, the seam has a
hand-sewn appearance.
