Selecting needles

Press the Needle Up - Needle Down button once

Place a small piece of fabric beneath the presser foot.

This will avoid the possibility of a needle falling into the machine.

Set the

‹presser foot lifter ›

to the lower position.

Take care that the

‹presser foot lifter›

engages audibly.

Loosen the thumb screw of the needle by turning the screw forwards to-
wards the nose.

Do not use a screwdriver or any other tool to loosen the needle
clamp screw.

Pull the old needle downwards out of the holder.
