ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES FOR THE 338

INTRODUCTION

This section contains the Adjustment Procedures for the 338 Logic Analyzer.  Information on the Adjustment
Procedures for the 318 Logic Analyzer is located in the first part of Chapter 5; refer to the page-edge tabs for help
in locating 318 information.

This section contains procedures for adjusting instrument variables so that the instrument meets or exceeds
performance specifications.  If the instrument does not meet or exceed specifications after these procedures have
been followed, repair is necessary.

IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS PROCEDURE

PURPOSE

The Adjustment Procedure provides a sequence for adjustments.  It is not a troubleshooting guide or a verification
procedure.  The Adjustment Procedure is divided into sub-sections that describe adjustments for one particular
board or set of boards in the 338.
