The VI takes a few moments before the scan begins in order to perform some initialization tasks on the
RGA. After this time, you should see a trace corresponding to the partial pressures detected by the RGA
as its mass filter is swept. If the trace does not appear after thirty seconds or you get an error, use the
RGA COM program supplied with your RGA to verify communications are set up correctly. Make sure
the power to the RGA is on (check the power LED), verify the COM port setting is correct, and test the
cabling.
