25. Write down the Z-position for the center focus position in the following table.

26. In the Move Stage to Absolute Position dialog, in the Current Position: X field, enter 8900.
27. In the Current Position: Y field, enter 77200 and then press Enter to move to the upper-left
corner of the plate.
28. In the Focus dialog, on the Autofocus tab, click Preview Pass to display a Preview Pass
image window.
29. Click the trace line at the top of the green line of the first peak.
30. Write down the Z-position for the upper-left position.
31. Repeat the previous five steps for the other three corners of the plate, using the X and Y
values in Table 8-4 .
32. Circle the lowest Z-position value. The circled value is the Plate Bottom Reference Point.

Series Administrator Software on page 228 .
33. In the Plate Acquisition toolbar, click to move the stage to the load position.
34. Remove the flat-field correction (FFC) plate, and then click again to return the stage
to its previous position.
35. Exit the MetaXpress software.
36. Continue to the next section to edit the MetaXpress.ref file.
