6. Do the following to make last minute tweaks as needed:
Click the blue wavelength name to display the corresponding W# Wavelength tab
where you adjust wavelength settings. See
Configuring Acquisition Wavelengths on
page 96 .
Click Auto Expose to automatically set the exposure time required to obtain the
Target Max Intensity.
In the Exposure Time field, enter the exposure time for the wavelength.
- Click to snap an image.
- Click to test your settings.
7. Click Acquire Plate to acquire images from a plate based on the settings for the
loaded protocol.
The Plate Acquisition Setup dialog closes. The Plate Acquisition Status dialog displays an
image of the plate wells that have been acquired (outlined in black) and the well that is
currently being acquired (outlined in orange). The well/site ID for the well that is currently being
acquired displays below this graphic. The software acquires wells in a serpentine fashion,
going down one column, and then up the next column. After acquisition begins, the estimated
time remaining displays. An image displays briefly for each acquisition wavelength in a
standalone image window. After the last image is acquired and saved, the Plate Acquisition
Status dialog closes and the Plate Acquisition Setup dialog displays.
