Lowering Feed Deck Pan
The feed deck pan protects the feed draper from items on the ground. It can be opened and closed to access the feed
draper.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key before leaving the operator
’
s seat, and always engage the safety props before going under the
machine for any reason.
1.
Raise the header fully.
2.
Engage the header safety props. Refer to the combine operator
’
s manual for instructions.
3.
Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.

On the underside of the feed deck, rotate latch (A) to
unlock handle (B). Repeat on the opposite end of the
feed deck.

Hold pan (A) and rotate handle (B) downward to release
the pan.
