16. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between the
ground (pin 2 wire) and the signal (pin 3 wire) at the reel
height sensor (A).
17. If the voltage is not within the recommended range, loosen
two M5 hex nuts (B) and rotate sensor (A) to achieve the
recommended voltage range. Tighten nuts (B) to 2.5 Nm
(2 lbf·ft).
18. Repeat checking and adjusting until the voltage range is
within the range specified.
19. Start the engine.
20. Lower the reel fully.
21. Recheck the voltage range and ensure it is still within the
range specified. Adjust if required.
Replacing Reel Height Sensor
The reel height sensor is used to reference where the reel is positioned above from the cutterbar.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before making adjustments to the machine.
1.
Start the engine.
2.
Lower the reel fully.
3.
Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.

Disconnect the harness from sensor (A).
5.
Remove two hex head bolts (B) from sensor arm (C). Retain
the hardware for reinstallation.
