The channel number is coupled to the frequency value when the

set to NONE. When the frequency value is changed, the channel number will increase or decrease to
match the new frequency. If the frequency is not at an exact match for a channel number, the nearest
channel number is displayed along with a greater than or less than sign to indicate the frequency is
above or below the channel number.
