Auto Set RF Levels
Allows you to set the mechanical attenuation for the whole Sequence and set the Instrument Gain for each
acquisition automatically, based on the Sequence parameters which are being used by the test set.
For E6607C, it allows you to set the Multiport Adapter Preamp (if Multiport Adapter On/Off is On) and
FrontEnd Gain for each acquisition automatically, based on the Sequence parameters which are being
used by the test set.

Min Signal To Noise Ratio Margin
This parameter is fed into the auto set RF levels algorithm. It sets how far from the analyzer noise floor
(DANL) the ranging will go. This is best described as a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) Margin. In
communication systems this value is set to allow the data to be fully demodulated with minimum error. A
default value of 15 dB is used. This assumes a capture length of 1 ms. The longer the capture, the more
averaging is performed, which impacts the SNR required.
If the Auto Set RF Level is set to OFF, then these additional parameters are disabled.
