1 Click the Preferences tab to open the Preferences page.
2 To change the way dates are displayed, select the appropriate format
from the
Date Format
pull-down list.
3 To change the way times are displayed, select the appropriate format
from the
Time Format
pull-down list.
4 To change the frequency with which Printer Utility updates the device
status, select the frequency from the
Device Status Refresh Rate
pull-down
list.
5 To change the frequency with which Printer Utility updates the job
queues, select the frequency from the
Job Queue Refresh Rate
pull-down
list.
6 To change the number of items shown in the logs, enter the number
you want in the
Number of items to show for logs
text box.
7 To change the tab displayed when you first access Printer Utility,
select the tab from the
Start Page
pull-down list.
8 To change the display language used by Printer Utility, select the
language you want from the
Language
pull-down list.
Managing Counters
The controller keeps track of the number of pages printed, copied, and
scanned and maintains a set of counters. These statistics can be
displayed in totals or broken down by department. This topic describes
how to view the statistics and manage department counters.
All users can view the statistics maintained by the controller. If you use
department codes, you can also reset department counters and save
department statistics in a format that you can use for reporting.
Only administrators can reset the scan counters.
