Checking Device Status
Printer Utility opens to the Device tab, which includes an illustration of
the device.
Printer Utility Device Status
This tab shows the following information about the controller:
„
Device status, which can be Ready or a number that identifies an
alert condition. Errors are in red and warnings are in yellow.
„
Device name and location.
„
The contact name and phone number for the person responsible for
managing the controller.
„
Paper trays on this device (media size, media types, cassettes, and
their status).
„
List of optional components installed on the device.
„
Administrative message.
At any time, you can click
Refresh
to update the Printer Utility status
information.
